We loved all the old fashion shops. Here is Austin and Elena just out side the Scarlett O'Hara Bar (Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn) hehe... and Rhett's Piano Bar.
We took a tour at this really cool Pirates Museum. They had all sorts of authentic Pirate artifacts, and different interactive things for the kids to do. It was little scary for Elena cause they had a cannon you could shoot off, but she thought it was too loud and didn't like it. They also had skeletons in cages and a talking be-headed Blackbeard that freaked her out a little bit too. But other than that it was pretty neat to sea...I'm mean see:)
We then walked across the street to the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument. I've talked about this before in this post.
We headed off on down the road to Daytona. We were running behind on schedule so we didn't have much time to stop and look much but we had time to get a few pictures...
The Daytona Speedway Stadium
Then we headed out to Cape Canaveral to the Kennedy Space Station. We didn't take a tour since the tickets were around $60 ea. But we were still glad to be able to ride out and see it.
This is the NASA launch pad from across the water. I had to really zoom to get a decent shot.
Then of course while we were there, we had to visit Cocoa Beach and the Ron Jon Surf Shop...:)
These photos are a little out of order, but the last night we were in FL we went with the whole fam to Clark's Fish Camp. It's this amazing seafood restaurant that is so yummy and has such an exciting atmosphere. It's right on the water so we got to see live turtles and baby crocs. They had the place all decorated for Halloween and they recently added a tank with a live gator in it...SO COOL!!!
